On May 30, 2026, four SSSIO volunteers in Nigeria visited ‘The Heartbeat of God’ Children’s Home, an orphanage in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. They delivered food items, toiletries, stationery, and clothing. Donations included a 50 kg bag of rice, 50 kg of beans, over six dozen exercise books, boxes of pens, pencils, and erasers, 10 liters of groundnut oil, a basin of garri (a staple West African food made from cassava), detergents, washing soaps, liquid disinfectant, and other essential household supplies. The team served 14 children at the Home, bringing them hope, positivity, and joy. The children and the Home Coordinator, Ms. Tina, welcomed the volunteers warmly, and the children sang, prayed, and expressed gratitude for the visit.
