Special Aradhana Mahotsavam Event in South Africa

On 24th April 2016, more than 10,000 Sathya Sai devotees flocked to Chatsworth Stadium in Durban, South Africa, to participate in a Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam event, a day of remembering Sathya Sai Baba. Meals for the Homeless in Stockholm

The Stockholm Centre held bhajans on 23rd April 2016. Afterwards, eight SSIO members prepared vegetarian meals for the homeless. On 24th April, six volunteers served lunch to homeless people at the non-profit association, Ny Gemenskap. The simple meal of salad and pasta was enjoyed by many guests who returned for seconds and asked for food to be packed for taking with them.

Teachers Retreat in Trinidad and Tobago

Seasoned and aspiring SSE teachers and enthusiasts headed to a nature lodge in La Vega Estate, Gran Couva, on 2nd April 2016, to attend a retreat. It was an opportunity for educators from various regions in the country to meet and share their passion for and dedication to Sathya Sai Education in a relaxed, informal setting. Participants began the day with a meditative nature walk through the beautiful grounds. Then they discussed their perspectives on Educare, relative to the five human values. After reflecting on Swami’s guidelines to teachers and His expectations, they reviewed the challenges and opportunities for more collaborative offerings. It was an inspiring and rejuvenating experience for all participants, who appreciated meeting their counterparts from different areas.
