Caring for Children and Infants in Thailand

On 22nd July 2017, SSIO volunteers received a call for help from a refugee family. A 14-year-old child had been hospitalised for a few days, and the family was unable to pay the hospital bill. The next day, SSIO volunteers cheerfully helped pay the bill, so that the child could be reunited with the family in joy and relief.

SSIO volunteers also provided loving services at the Pakkret Babies Home on 23rd July 2017. Ten volunteers, including three SSE students, kindly delivered baby food, milk, and diapers to the home, which provides care to about 100 infants.

Buddha Poornima celebrations on 3rd and 4th May 2015 in Prasanthi Nilayam, commemorated Lord Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and attainment of Pari-Nirvana. Chinese New Year Celebrations in Puttaparthi

From 24th to 27th February 2015, about 300 members of the Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan celebrated Chinese New Year in Prasanthi Nilayam and offered colourful music and dance programmes to Bhagawan in Sai Kulwant Hall.
