Christmas Programme in Kazakhstan

During Christmas 2014, 22 members of the Sathya Sai Centres of Prema and Shanti, in Astana, presented a new version of the musical show, The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids, to an audience of 100 at a boarding school for children with disabilities. The children joyfully recognised the familiar characters in the play. In conclusion, the actors and audience danced together around the Christmas tree. Annual Christmas Event, Russia

On 21st December 2014, 26 SSIO members from five Sathya Sai Centres, and nine others, attended a New Year’s programme of dancing, singing, and stage performances presented by 21 SSE children from St. Petersburg. Education Seminar in Russia

On 20th and 21st December 2014, the Ural ISSE organised an educational seminar. Eight instructors from the Russian ISSE delivered lectures to 20 people, including 15 SSIO members. Quiz Competition in Nepal

The SSIO of Nepal held interschool quiz competitions on the topic of spirituality, for 469 students from 34 schools, which included questions on the Sathya Sai International Organisation, human values, the Ramayana, the Bhagavad Gita, etc. Books on Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, His framed photographs, and trophy shields were distributed to participants. The school administration and students were pleased with the event and requested the SSIO to organise such events in the future.

Disaster Relief Services in Croatia

In 2014, the river Kupa flooded the village, Letovanic, near Sisak, Croatia, damaging homes, gardens, and household belongings. During October–December 2014, Sathya Sai volunteers assisted 15 local families by donating groceries, clothes, bedding, furniture, and building material.
