In June 2020, volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Centers of Santa Cecilia and Barra Funda districts in Sao Paulo packed hampers for distribution to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The hampers were packed with dry foods such as rice, coffee, pasta, tomato and bean extracts, and soap. As awareness of this wonderful service activity spread around. Numerous other SSSIO volunteers joined the project from across the country, serving a large number of needy families with food and cleaning supplies on a monthly basis.
