On March 28, 2026, the “Path of the Heart” program was held in Salvador, Bahia, which included a medical camp at a shelter for elderly individuals living in vulnerable social conditions. The “Path of the Heart” program is part of a series of gatherings organized by the SSSIO of Brazil throughout 2026, bringing together members of the Sai Organization from different regions of the country to strengthen human values, unity, and the spirit of service.
Forty-nine elderly individuals were served at this event. There were more than 140 consultations in general medicine, orthopedics, and dermatology. In addition, adult diapers, personal hygiene items, clothing, bedding, and essential medical supplies were donated. The event was marked by kindness, music, strengthening human bonds, and bringing dignity and attention to the elderly residents.
