In March 2021, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Strathfield in New South Wales, Australia participated in the Clean-up Australia Day, an annual national service day. With the help of the Strathfield Council, parks around the Cooke river that needed clean-up were identified. More than 15 volunteers collected eight bags of trash and four bags of recyclable materials, to help preserve the ecosystem.
