On August 6 and 7, 2020, SSSIO volunteers in Austria served animals at the Animal Shelter, Esternberg, providing loving care for cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, and cats. They collected wood for the coming winter, assisted in clearing a nettle field and removed weeds from a chicken fence. They redesigned a memorial garden, in honor of Gerd Viebig, and removed dirt from the duck and chicken coops. SSSIO volunteers took great joy in performing physically demanding work. In the evening of the first day, the volunteers participated in devotional singing, reading of divine discourses, and guided light meditation. The volunteers were grateful for the opportunity to serve.
