SSIO volunteers organised a blood donation in Tianmu, a suburb of Taipei on 17th February 2019. In preparation for the event, Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) students created colourful posters to attract and encourage the public to donate blood. On the day of the camp, 45 volunteers, including 6 Sathya Sai young adults and 18 SSE students gathered at the venue. They enthusiastically marched around the neighbourhood holding posters and inviting people to donate blood. SSE Students also performed SSEHV songs, which were well received by the public. The event concluded successfully with the collection of 98 bags of blood.

SSIO Taiwan has been organising blood donations for over 20 years and has been instrumental in saving innumerable lives by collecting thousands of bags of blood. This selfless service has been acknowledged by the local blood bank and the SSIO has received many certificates of appreciation over the years.
