More than 100 Sathya Sai Young Adults in Ghana participated in the Serve the Planet project on 28th October 2017 by cleaning a local beach. To ensure safety, personal protective equipment was distributed to volunteers prior to the commencement of the project. The youth spent the day cleaning the beach and its surroundings with rakes, shovels, and other small tools. The volunteers also served breakfast and lunch to local fishermen and needy children living in the area, bringing immense joy to everyone. The success of the service project inspired the young adults to look forward to their next service opportunity.
