Repairing Generator in Puerto Rico

On 21st September 2016, a fire at one of the electrical plants in Puerto Rico knocked out the entire electrical grid of nine power plants on the island. The resulting power outage lasted 72 hours and left over 3 million people without electricity, water, or electronic communication systems. SSIO members helped their neighbours and shared food and water. In one neighbourhood, an elderly lady had a broken electrical generator. A Sathya Sai follower immediately located the missing parts and repaired the generator free of cost. The elderly lady then gratefully supplied electricity to four neighbouring homes, helping to meet their basic needs.
