On the day of Orthodox Easter, a public meeting was held in the Central Region of Russia, attended by 40 people, including 28 SSSIO members. The public was introduced to the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The meeting focused on one of Swami’s core spiritual practices: selfless service. Through a presentation, participants learned how service activities are organized and executed in the region. They were introduced to initiatives such as serving in camps, feeding the homeless, as well as visits to boarding schools, orphanages, and other service activities.

A second presentation was delivered by the Chairman of the Zonal Service Council from Ufa. He spoke about selfless service in Zone 8, while sharing a recorded interview with homeless individuals. The audience enjoyed hearing about his personal experiences, including examples from group activities in volunteer camps and various outreach events. To celebrate the Orthodox Easter holiday, SSSIO members lovingly sang devotional songs accompanied by gusli and guitar, with all participants joining in. The program concluded with festive bhajans, warm fellowship, and a shared tea party.
