In early October 2019, over 200 volunteers from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan served food to about 1,200 needy people in various locations. Food items included hot porridge (rice, buckwheat, wheat) with vegetables, muffins, tea, coffee, fruit drinks, sweets, cookies and gingerbread cookies. Volunteers also distributed grocery bags containing cereals, butter, vegetable oil, sweets, juices and tea to larger families. In some centres and groups, SSIO volunteers distributed warm clothes and shoes along with groceries and a hygiene kit. This service brought joy to everyone involved.
