On March 14, SSSIO of New Zealand held its annual Fun Day for Children with Special Needs at Marlborough Park in Auckland. Although the event started with rainy weather, conditions improved later in the day, allowing the program to run smoothly. Approximately 280 people attended, including children, families, and volunteers, though fewer children with special needs were present due to the morning rain.

The day featured numerous enjoyable activities designed to entertain and engage the children and their families. Hot meals were prepared and served by community volunteers and SSSIO members. The food was enjoyed by all participants, contributing to the welcoming and caring atmosphere of the event. The event was supported by multiple community groups, including the Tzu Chi Group, Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) NGO, Kaipātiki Trust, and SSSIO volunteers, who also helped prepare and serve hot meals. Organizers expressed sincere appreciation to all partners and volunteers for their efforts in making the event a happy, joyful, and inclusive occasion.
