On March 1, 2026, SSSIO members from Victoria and New South Wales participated in Clean Up Australia Day, embodying the spirit of selfless service and spirituality. In New South Wales, around 45 participants gathered at Blaxland Riverside Park within Sydney Olympic Park and North Rocks Park in Carlingford. Volunteers, including Young Adults and children from the Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) program, collected plastics, glass, paper, and general debris. After the cleanup, the participants enjoyed basketball, cricket, face painting, and morning tea. In Victoria, ten volunteers restored the Bellbird Picnic Area in Yarra Bend Park, collecting litter ranging from plastic wrappers to abandoned car parts, thus protecting the local environment. The day concluded with a reminder that service to nature is service to the divine, and that even simple acts of cleanup become sacred when performed with love.
