In mid-November 2022, several zonal public meetings, both in-person and online, were held in Russia to increase awareness of the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. More than 300 people from 26 countries attended these meetings, which focused on His life, humanitarian works, teachings, and divine love.
In the central region, attendees listened in amazement to His life story and divine miracles. In the northwestern region, they discussed the Unity of Faiths, the importance of bhajans, light meditation, and selfless service. Newcomers were encouraged to read Howard Murphet’s book, Sai Baba Man of Miracles, and Samuel Sandweiss’ book, Sai Baba -The Holy Man and the Psychiatrist.
The southern region held a talk on non-violence in the city library and another in a village about the power of words in everyday speech. Musical instruments were creatively used to help children understand the impact and beauty of good speech.
Two meetings were held in the Ural region, with an online meeting introducing Sathya Sai’s teachings to the Christian audience.
