On March 5, 2023, SSSIO members, including children, visited Baku Zoological Park, Azerbaijan’s oldest zoo, to learn how animals and birds were cared for. Led by a guide, they toured the animal enclosures, terrarium, and aquarium. Afterward, while relishing snacks at a cafe, the SSSIO members participated in an online Zonal Festival, ‘Clean Planet,’ where they learned about available internships and the Fourth Ecological Conference. It was a very informative and joyous trip.
