On March 11, 2023, 60 SSSIO volunteers came together with leaders of various indigenous and faith groups to organize a ‘Fun Day Out for Our Special Children’ in partnership with several special needs community support agencies and the Local Kaipataki Community Facilities Trust. Over 400 participants, including children with special needs, parents, and caregivers, enjoyed a day of fun, creative, and challenging activities. They also received free health checks and valuable information to help families and caregivers access the support network available to provide the best care for their loved ones.
