Nearly 550 participants from 79 cities attended the virtual Zone 8 General Conference focused on the theme of Peace and Silence.
The Zonal Chairman, Mr. Valery Voshchinin welcomed the participants. The Youth Wing presented a beautiful fireworks display. The Conference culminated with speeches by Dr. Narendranath Reddy (Chair, SSSIO) and Marianne Meyer (Member, Prasanthi Council and Director of the ESSE Institute). Both stressed that silence and peace were essential for a spiritual seeker who wants enlightenment. Finally, Professor Jafar Mallayev focused his speech on universal human values and how he integrated them into the education system throughout his career as an educator. To conclude, Muslim Magomayev, the brilliant Russian baritone, performed a song for world peace.
