The Pregnancy Center in Toronto, Ontario supports families for pregnancy and parenting. The Center experienced a dramatic increase in demand for their Care Closet that provides families with hygiene products and supplies during the pandemic. On June 1, 2021, 60 SSSIO volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Cooksville collected and delivered over 4,700 diapers and 7,300 wipes to the Pregnancy Center. They also distributed cotton baby shirts and baby blankets knitted by a volunteer. In an email, the client coordinator of the Pregnancy Center thanked the volunteers stating that the Center was amazed at receiving such large donations of diapers and wipes as well as baby food, and stated, “You are a HUGE blessing.” The Centre also tagged the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Cooksville in their social media post to show their appreciation.
