Volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Loudoun, Virginia organized multiple service activities to commemorate Aradhana Mahotsavam Day. About twenty-five volunteers participated in a food drive coordinated by Martha’s Table, a nonprofit organization that distributes food daily to the needy in Washington, DC. SSE children and their families prepared about 125 peanut butter sandwiches. Other center volunteers provided fruits, snack bars and bottles of water for 125 meals. They also assembled fifty-five hygiene kits to be distributed along with the food. Additionally, Loudoun Center volunteers distributed 192 hygiene kits to shelter residents and to people living on the street in Washington, DC. Each kit contained one toothbrush, one 6-oz. toothpaste, one 4 oz. hand sanitizer, a pack of ten face masks, and one roll of toilet paper.

The Sri Sathya Sai Center organizes monthly food service to the needy on every fourth Saturday, which coincided with Aradhana Mahotsavam Day in April. As in previous months, the volunteers prepared pasta, fried rice, hot soup, and kidney beans curry at home, and delivered it to a shelter in Manassas, Virginia. In addition, bananas, oranges, and bottled water were also donated to forty shelter residents.
