A regional volunteer camp was organised in the Sverdlovsk region of the Ural mountains of Russia during the end of June 2019. Based on a request from the leader of the city, 11 volunteers from six cities cleaned and landscaped the “Summer” monument in front of the Palace of Culture, and also installed new toilets. More than 25 teachers from the municipal educational institutions of the city attended a seminar titled “Unity and cooperation in the educational process”. Volunteers spoke with members of a local youth centre about moral values and their importance in everyday life. On the second day of the camp, volunteers conducted a lesson on unity for the children. The lesson examined aspects of unity with all people, the unity of all religions and the unity of man with nature. At the end of the lesson, there was a workshop in drawing. A local dentist also organised a workshop on oral hygiene for 4-7 year old children and their parents.
