On 17th February 2019, Sathya Sai Young Adult volunteers served traumatised mothers residing at the DOMI Shelter in Peru. They entertained the residents with music, dancing and games and shared messages of love and hope about life and God. The Young Adults presented Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) lessons on the theme of Love and Care for the Planet and provided the residents with tips on protecting and sustaining Mother Earth. The mothers also offered solutions to protect the environment and took part in games that further reinforced the message. To allow the mothers to participate, the young adults took care of their infants. At the end of the service, some of the ladies performed a local dance called “Festejo”, accompanied by music played on instruments constructed from recycled material by the volunteers.
