The Sathya Sai Centre of Nairobi serves food to about 1,200 children every Sunday throughout the year. Prior to receiving the food, the children attend Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) classes. Children under age 10 watch videos and listen to short stories depicting the five human values. A dedicated SSEHV teacher conducts lessons and holds story-telling sessions for children ages 11–15. Started in 2014, this programme has had a remarkable impact on the children, bringing noticeable improvements in discipline, conduct, and attitude. On 25th February 2018, the young adults at the Sathya Sai Centre joined in the weekly service project and distributed hampers containing toothpaste, toothbrushes, exercise books, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, chocolate biscuits, and a packet of snacks, to approximately 1,200 needy children.
