Forty Sathya Sai volunteers from five cities of Kazakhstan participated in 35 projects serving children as part of the Serve the Planet global initiative of the Sathya Sai International Organisation between January and October 2015. Volunteers organised a camp on education in the village Sairam, located near Shymkent in southern Kazakhstan, on 16th–17th October 2015. More than 40 human values lessons were taught to 950 students at two schools. About 100 teachers also attended a seminar on incorporating self-knowledge into the curriculum. For high school students, lessons focusing on moral behaviour were given separately to girls and boys.
