During 11th–13th June 2016, about 40 volunteers, including 25 SSIO members, undertook various service projects in their local communities. In Novosibirsk, volunteers demolished old buildings and cleaned and weeded flower beds surrounding a monastery. In Kemerovo, volunteers washed walls, ceilings, and floors of municipal institutions. Near the rivers Yenisei and Aba in Krasnoyarsk and Novokuznetsk, volunteers removed litter from recreation areas. SSIO members also redecorated rooms, cleaned homes of the elderly, repaired houses, and performed gardening in the cities of Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, and Barnaul. Members of the SSIO and the public participants felt united and uplifted by the love shared through these acts of service to brothers and sisters in need.
