Sathya Sai members held five medical and vision camps during January – April 2014, where 24 doctors and 37 nurses provided medical services to over 3,000 needy people. Various ailments affecting the heart, kidney and ovary were identified and medicines were dispensed. One of the camps was held on International Women’s Day at Kalaiya, where more than 500 needy women received gynaecological services, including Pap-smear tests. Four vision camps were held in Siddharthnagar. Almost 400 pints of blood were collected at blood donation camps across the country in early 2014. The Sathya Sai organisation of Nepal fully supported two heart surgeries for needy patients and helped with five additional heart operations.
