In celebration of World Human Values Day, the Education Wing of the SSSIO of Peru organized awareness walks and workshops in two adopted communities, involving local children and their parents. On April 28, 2024, an event was held in the ‘Señor de los Milagros’ Common Pot in El Valle, San Antonio, Huarochirí. Activities included a values-based workshop and a symbolic “pull the rope” game between values and anti-values, emphasizing that human values always prevail. This was followed by a community walk with banners and slogans promoting values. The event involved 40 community members and 14 volunteers.

A similar event took place on May 5, 2024, in the Villa Sol settlement in Villa María del Triunfo, Lima. After a workshop and engaging games, the participants joined a walk to raise awareness of values. This event saw participation from 30 community members and 10 SSSIO volunteers. Both events successfully promoted human values through education, engagement, and community spirit.
