During August 1–10, 2024, 142 SSSIO volunteers served hundreds of people in need, bringing joy to them. It was a well-organized and executed service project where the volunteers not only helped the needy but also brought happiness to everyone. The construction team repaired orphanage roofs, built a bathroom for a summer camp, and improved the apartments of elderly residents living alone. The social service team prepared and distributed over 170 food packages to low-income families and elderly individuals while conversing with the recipients.
The educational team organized lively Sai Spiritual Education in Human Values (SSEHV) classes for children, including those from orphanages and schools, offering creative workshops, puppet shows, and interactive quests. A competition allowed children to showcase their innovative projects, with prizes for the winners. Teachers from four schools also participated in seminars conducted by the trainers from Campus the Sathya Sai European Education (ESSE) in Zone 8.
The medical team, consisting of 30 healthcare specialists, conducted nearly 3,500 consultations, offering high-quality care and discussing preventive health. They also distributed free medications and 350 pairs of glasses and provided 15 wheelchairs and 19 walkers for people with disabilities.
