In 2024, SSSIO Sri Lanka launched a two-phase flood relief program to support communities affected by severe flooding in the Eastern region. Phase 1 provided dry ration packs to 397 families across seven villages adopted by the SSSIO, while Phase 2 extended aid to 500 families living near eight Sai Centers and one additional village.

The relief efforts ensured essential food supplies reached those in need, offering hope and stability. This initiative reflected SSSIO’s dedication to serving vulnerable communities with compassion and care.
