In celebration of Swami’s 99th Birthday, the Jaffna Sathya Sai Center hosted a memorable service event at the Karunalayam Children’s Home in Neerveli, Jaffna, on November 2, 2024. The event aimed to bring love, joy, and support to the children, many of whom are orphans or from single-parent households.
The program began with prayers, bhajans, and the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, setting a peaceful and spiritual tone. Volunteers engaged the children in interactive discussions, team games, and a friendly cricket match, fostering heart-to-heart connection and joy. A nutritious lunch was shared, symbolizing unity and reflecting Swami’s teachings on love and service. This heartfelt event, attended by 21 children and 16 volunteers, was a beautiful tribute to Swami’s message of compassion and selflessness.
