SSSIO of Trinidad and Tobago held a distinctive 99th Birthday celebration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at their headquarters, Sai Nilayam. It was a special and unique event largely attended by the public, including students and parents from Sai schools. Around 175 people participated, including 25 Sai devotees.

The festivities began at 7:30 am with a Nagar Sankirtan, where the procession was led by a white sports car (following the tradition set by Swami), accompanied by participants singing devotional songs. Preschool children carried placards with value-based quotes as they circled Sai Nilayam and two schools. The children then pinned paper flowers with value-driven thoughts, spelling out “SAI 99.” The celebration continued with prayers, cake cutting, and a delicious meal with corn soup, veggie burgers, vada, and ice cream. In addition, 150 grocery hampers were distributed to parents and students, and the joy on the children’s faces was the most meaningful and uplifting part of the event.
