From July 31 to August 23, 2024, the Fortaleza Branch of ISSE-Brazil conducted a virtual session, “Introductory Course to SSEHV: Educating to Transform,” at the request of Fernando Kakonda Kanhina, the president of AJASB (Association of Young Solidary Academics of Benguela, Angola). AJASB is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the welfare of society, aiming to foster responsible citizenship and the development of the Benguela Province in Angola, Africa. The association promotes moral and civic values through education and health initiatives.
Supported by the ISSE Brazil and the SSSIO Brazil, the course aligns with the SAI 100 initiative, expanding Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) to Angola. After the first SSEHV course, 70% of the 28 participants were certified, with 19 receiving certificates on August 23. The closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Sérgio Espíndola, Chairman of SSSIO Zone 2B, Mr. Guacyra Rodrigues, Vice-President of ISSE Brazil, and Ms. Ada Espíndola, SSEHV Coordinator of Zone 2B.
