On September 29, 2022, Hurricane Ian, a Category 4 hurricane, severely devastated parts of Florida, USA. SSSIO volunteers delivered much-needed relief supplies for hurricane survivors to churches, driving between three to ten hours each way. They also brought Christmas cheer to the children by distributing toys during holiday giveaways.
Pastor Oral Walters from the Liberty Church expressed his gratitude saying, “These people have come so far, yet they are near our hearts. They have come to fill the need impacting our community, and we thank you…(You) show that we are family, no matter where you are from.”
