Inspired by the National Women’s Mini Retreat, which was organized online on March 27, 2021, SSSIO volunteers from South Denver and Boulder, Colorado delivered beautiful Sai Care women’s kits during April 2021to women living with their children in homeless shelters. Fifteen SSSIO volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of South Denver gathered to fill 25 backpacks with journals, pens, bookmarks with uplifting Sathya Sai quotes constructed by SSE children, handmade prayer bracelets, gourmet chocolates, and gift cards. The SSSIO volunteers also donated a designer purse with personal luxury hygiene items and other gifts for each recipient. When these kits were delivered, many needy mothers were touched. With tears of joy, the director of the home remarked, “No one has ever done anything special like this for our homeless mothers.”
The SSSIO volunteers from Boulder, Colorado continued distributing personal hygiene items and cards with inspirational quotes and messages from Sathya Sai Baba at their local homeless shelters.
