In March 2021, SSSIO volunteers from Ukraine, with support from the SSSIO of Germany, participated in the “Gift the Love” service project to propagate human values among children in Ukraine. The volunteers visited a boarding school in Ukraine where they interacted with over 100 students on various human values topics. Games, poems, and discussions were held on subjects related to nature, joy, friendship, respect, and helping people, with emphasis on Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings. The volunteers also distributed fruits and clothing to the children, who reciprocated by offering handmade gifts to the volunteers. Over the last 20 years, this project has brought love and smiles to teachers, children, and the volunteers.
