Over 200 SSIO volunteers from 49 cities across Zone 8, came together in mid-March to lovingly serve over 1,080 people. In Russia, Sai volunteers served porridge with gravy along with tea and sweets to more than 720 people. In Ukraine, 38 Sai volunteers served more than 160 people. In Belarus, 12 volunteers lovingly cooked and distributed food to 45 needy people. Each packet contained vegetarian pilaf, pancakes, pita rolls, and stewed vegetables. In Kazakhstan, 15 SSIO volunteers served food to 99 homeless and needy people. Additionally, they also distributed clothes and small grocery packages.
