Despite the ongoing global pandemic, SSIO volunteers in Azerbaijan continued to serve the needy in their community in several ways. They distributed toys, clothes and food to a mother and her two young children, and provided nourishment to 10 orphans, aged 6 months to 11 years. Additionally, Sai volunteers donated food, clothes and utensils to a struggling soldier and provided sustenance to a female patient at a tuberculosis clinic. An impoverished family of three received food and other gifts, while a female patient at a hospital was cared for by a volunteer who brought her food. Due to the need for physical distancing during the Coronavirus pandemic, volunteers wore protective masks and took safety precautions during the service activities.
