On May 27, 2020, volunteers including young adults from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Sigatoka, a town on the island of Viti Levu, came together to clean up the Sigatoka School for Special Education, which was adversely impacted by Cyclone Herald. The school, comprising 80 students and 8 teachers, provides children with special needs and/or learning disabilities, a place to gather and spend their day learning with love. The service began with prayers and was followed by clean-up activities involving sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, cleaning the compound, clearing debris on the roof, gardening, washing the verandas, and tidying up the bookshelves. Everyone in the team experienced the camaraderie as they practiced selfless love in this service project.
