Every month, members of the Sathya Sai Centre of Cooksville, Mississauga, Canada, organise a music programme for senior residents at The Village of Erin Meadows who are affected by Alzheimer’s disease and early-stage dementia. Children ages 6–18 have served at this venue for more than four years, involving the seniors with devotional songs, stories, and prayers. On 27th August 2017, about 15 SSIO volunteers organised a musical programme titled “Melody of Divine Love.” The children read a values-based story and an instrumental music performance on keyboard and violin. The senior residents of the home thoroughly enjoyed the programme, singing along joyfully with the children. The 45-minute programme brought much happiness to everyone present, including the performers.
