In 2015, the Disaster Relief Team of Zone 7 of the SSIO served refugees passing through Austria’s border with Germany in Kufstein, Austria. Up to 1,000 displaced people from war-ravaged countries passed through this area daily on their way to Germany and other northern European countries. Sathya Sai volunteers distributed care packages to the refugees and provided mothers and children a loving reception along with facilities to rest in a relaxed atmosphere.
