A public conference was held in Guayaquil on transformation through the practice of human values, on 3rd March 2016. The conference focused on self-inquiry and self-knowledge, and the need to become a better person, by practicing the five universal human values and rendering selfless service. The Central Coordinators of Zones 2A and 2B, Mr. Oscar Morado and Ms. Maria Cecilia Villamizar, from Mexico and Colombia respectively, addressed an audience of about 150 educators and teachers. The Sub-secretary of Education, who oversees education for 2,500 local children, attended the conference and showed interest in implementing Sathya Sai Education in Human Values in the schools of Guayaquil. A similar conference was also attended by about 50 people in Quito on 2nd March 2016.
