The SSIO of Zone 8 held its Annual Zonal Sai Olympics in the Volga-Ural region of Russia in June 2015. On a bright sunny day, 46 participants from 13 Sathya Sai Centres joined in a spirit of unity and cooperation.

On 21st June 2015, Sathya Sai youth from El Salvador organised a retreat for 16 children at a farmhouse in San Salvador. The children received human values education and played values-based games amidst trees and natural surroundings.

In Cuba, on 21st June 2015, for the first time, the SSIO participated in a public meeting, which attracted about 300 people. The Indian Ambassador to Cuba, who had attended Bhagawan’s Birthday celebration the previous year, invited SSIO members to sing bhajans

Eighty people attended a family camp during 20th to 26th June 2015 in Moscow, themed “Seven Colours of Joy.” The event was organised to serve children and help the participants realise that divinity is omnipresent.

During mid-June 2015, 24 Sathya Sai volunteers organised a project in the Sverdlovsk region to renovate rooms of the Museum of National Culture, located in a village school.

During June 2015, 25 SSIO members held a camp serving villagers in the Kemerovo region of Siberia. The volunteers cleaned, repaired, plastered, and painted a local stadium and club.
