In March 2025, volunteers from the Jaffna and Point Pedro Sai Centers of SSSIO Sri Lanka organized two Village Service Projects aimed at supporting physical well-being, fostering human values, and providing sustainable assistance to residents of underserved areas.
In Palaly, Jaffna, meals were lovingly prepared and served to over 200 people. In addition, fertilizer and 120 saplings and seed packs were distributed to more than 30 households. Medical guidance and health awareness programs, and value-based sessions on prayer and parenting were also organized for the community.
In Navalady, a free medical camp with consultations supporting 70 beneficiaries was organized. Parenting sessions were held on Human Values and Right Living. Volunteers distributed nutritious ‘Sai Protein Mix’ to over 22 young children, with arrangements for long-term provisions, and home-cooked meals were served to more than 250 people. In addition, uplifting group prayers and devotional singing were conducted. These projects served as a testament to the transformative power of selfless service and Swami’s ever-present guidance. The collaboration between multiple Sai Centers and the involvement of dedicated volunteers ensured that the rural communities were served with love and dignity.
