On August 18, 2024, the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Vila Isabel in Rio de Janeiro hosted a “Live the Green Life” project at the Grajaú Forest Reserve. This bimonthly initiative promotes awareness about caring for both the environment and our inner nature, fostering a deep connection with Mother Earth and God. The event was part of the SAI 100 project, celebrating Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary and his teachings on the unity of mankind and nature.

A small group of eight participants, including Sai Center members and an agronomy instructor, planted eight native tree saplings to support biodiversity and reforestation. The event included a discussion on the impact of tree planting and a shared snack. The participants reflected on their experience and reinforced their commitment to environmental preservation.
