To address challenges to healthcare due to rising costs, the SSSIO of Sri Lanka demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the well-being of the community by donating two Ophthalmology Slit Lamps to the Vavunia General Hospital.
The hospital director, the divisional secretary of Vavunia Town, an eye surgeon, and a large gathering of hospital staff were present at the handover ceremony to receive the much-needed equipment. The hospital director expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the services of the SSSIO over the years, not only to the Vavunia General Hospital but also to other regional hospitals in the area. This initiative is part of the ongoing Vision of Love project. It is a testament to the wholehearted support of SSSIO volunteers that has made a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need of eyecare.
