A team of 38 SSSIO volunteers in Southern Russia served food in loving compassion to those in great need across seven regions of Zone 8 in March 2024. They distributed 103 portions of hot meals, including hot tea, to the hungry outside the market and the cathedral. In return, they received heartfelt thanks and blessings for good health from the recipients. A woman, overwhelmed by their kindness, even gifted the volunteers with socks. A member of the Pyatigorsk Sai Group also generously cooked food and made tea for people at a homeless shelter. Volunteers also joyously fed birds, stray cats, and dogs. The SSSIO also collaborated with the organization Call of the Heart to distribute 95 kg of vegetables to the needy.
