The Public Outreach Committee and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology co-hosted a health talk on dementia at the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Hong Kong on June 29, 2024. Led by Dr. Habeeb Ur. Rehman, the event helped raise awareness about dementia and its management and provided practical resources. The talk also focused on effective communication with individuals living with dementia, emphasizing patience, clarity, and dignity. Dr. Habeeb emphasized the significance of early diagnosis, awareness, and compassionate care in managing the condition. At the end, attendees shared their experiences and engaged in interactive activities. This health talk was a continuation of the commitment of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Hong Kong to public service through health education.
