In early June, 49 people from 11 cities, including guests from SSSIO Croatia, participated in a Cleanliness Day held in the Volga-Ural region of Russia as part of the Zonal Active Summer project. Participants cleaned the banks of the Belaya River and took part in a zonal teleconference, during which they shared their experiences. In some cities, volunteers collected garbage, watered plants, and planted seedlings and flowering shrubs. In one city, a community food service was organized, where buckwheat with vegetables, bread, gingerbread, and juice were served to the needy. In another city, children participated in a lesson on human values, played games, and painted a mandala. Participants enjoyed the immense satisfaction of serving nature by clearing litter and the joy of connecting with people at tea parties and picnics in a natural setting.
