Since March 2024, members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Greater St. Louis, including children, have been volunteering with local nonprofits in environmental care projects. They learned the importance of caring for trees through their early years by mulching, watering, and maintenance. After watching a demonstration of proper mulching techniques, volunteers eagerly began working. Some used wheelbarrows to transport mulch, while others cleaned up debris and spread fresh mulch around the trees. One student shared that they surpassed their goal of mulching 100 trees. By learning to care for the trees, the volunteers committed to being responsible stewards of the Earth.
